JHERRUCK Block

On January 31, 2008 NHEPL and KEC Joint Venture were granted Jherruck exploration license located in the province of Sindh. Over the next three years the Joint Venture will acquire 150 Sq Kms of 3D seismic data or 350 line Kms of 2D seismic data and drill 2 exploration wells at a cost of approximately US$ 9 Million.

Current Status

All available G&G data has been purchased, and loaded on workstation. Vintage data reprocessing is completed and interpretation on workstation is continuing Acquisition of new 2D data has started and a total a total of about 500 line Km is planned to be recorded.
