Kunri Block

On June 05, 2007, NHEPL and KEC Joint Venture were granted Kunri exploration license located in the province of Sindh. Over the next three years the Joint Venture will acquire about 800 line Kms of seismic data and drill 3 exploration wells at a cost of more than US$ 16 Million.

Current Status

All available G&G data has been purchased, and loaded on workstation. 2D survey completed in April, 2008 and a total of 882 line Km data was recorded. Reprocessing of the vintage, and processing of newly acquired data has been completed and being interpreted on workstation. First exploratory well is planned in 1^st half of 2009.
